Aurrion is building an integrated photonic component library including both active and passive devices that can be manufactured in external CMOS foundries.  Example components include lasers, modulators, switches and photo detectors compatible with integration of a variety of passive optical devices including optical splitters, filters, and multiplexers, all compatible with CMOS based electronics.

When integrated on the CMOS platform, these components provide value to such markets as:
